Ludlow is a medieval market town, dating back to the 11th century, with a very intact castle, which is worth a visit. The walk around the perimeter of the castle is worth doing with beautiful views across the countryside. Lots of beautiful timberd buildings. There are a variety of cafes and restaurants with various products and prices. There is parking just outside the town, with a short walk up the high street to the main part of the town. However, the hill from the carpark is steep. Really enjoyed our visit there and popped into the Rose and Crown for Sunday Dinner, which was delicious.

The market wasn't on the day I visited but I have been to Ludlow market several times in the past and it's a quaint little market with main art and craft stalls. Ludlow is well worth a visit with plenty of cosy eateries, full of history and surrounded by the beautiful Shropshire hills.

The manager who worked Friday 13th December is rude and ignorant. As for the shop itself really good choice of items with great deals
